HOTC Programs and Services
  1. Water Purification - Gravity Flow Water System
  2. Hygiene Center/Latrines - Septic
  3. Multilingual Health and Hygiene Education
  4. Secondary Scholarship Program
All programs and services are integrated with a three - five year bilingual educational reinforcement program and ongoing anthropological, medical, and environmental monitoring and study. A carefully selected team of trained professionals work integrally with the community respecting their natural wisdom and environmental knowledge.

Unlike most fast-achieving projects that aim to improve the quality of life of indigenous peoples and frequently fail, HOTC's is committed to have an integral, long presence in the area. This commitment, responsibly assures on the ground monitoring and community participation to achieve long term health achievements.

The most important aspects of our programs are a low tech, sustainable approach implemented at a gradual pace, using natural resources, community based committees, and local/regional craftsman's. All of this in partnership with local and regional health and education authorities and social service agencies to support sustainability when HOTC is no longer in the community.
